Keanu Reeves to Ruin Classic Anime Cowboy Bebop

A coworker of mine remarked last night that Keanu Reeve’s career is, if you think about it, quite interesting. After all, the guy went from Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Parenthood to Point Break, Speed, and then eventually The Matrix.
Now, the man without acting ability is said to be enthusiastically partaking in the creation of a live-action Hollywood version of legendary anime series Cowboy Bebop, and slated to play the main character Spike Spiegel. MTV thinks this is a “perfect-looking fit for Spiegel,” I think MTV bloggers are smoking some crack.
