Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Occasionally, I encounter people who have a certain appeal to them. A kind of attractive quality that really shines. The sort of quality that, when I see it, makes me believe that many others find this quality attractive, as well–as if it’s something that breaks down the barriers of subjectivity. It could be purely aesthetic or simply an amazing talent. It’s qualities like these, I imagine, that draws people to actors and actresses. When I observe people with this sort of quality, I wonder “Do they know the full extent of their brilliance? Do they know how moving they really are?”

This ensemble, composed of seven brothers and a drummer (who is as much a part of the family as he can be), has that quality. I encourage you to read a bit more about them.
